Lung cancer oncology lead for Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and East Cheshire Trust; responsible for radiotherapy at Christie at Salford, chemotherapy local delivery at East Cheshire Trust; Acute Oncologist to Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Sheikh did his core medical training on the London medical rotation and gained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) pass in 2002. He studied on the clinical oncology Specialist Registrar (SpR) training programme from 2003 until 2008 and gained his Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCR) pass in 2007. He has held a substantive consultant post since April 2009.
