Get on your bike

Going for a ride on your bike is a great way to exercise. And, more importantly, it’s also a good way to support the work that The Christie does.

If you’re just getting to grips with cycling or you haven’t been on a bike in a while, it might be worth booking onto some refresher cycling lessons. Some councils offer these for free – see what’s available in your area.

When you’re ready to get cycling, there’s a range of bike ride events available. You can start with a leisurely family cycle or if you’re up to something a bit more active, you can take on a long-distance cycling challenge.

You can also go further afield on your 2 wheels with an overseas cycle ride. Cycle from country to country and collect sponsorship money while you go.

If you want to challenge yourself, you can also sign up for the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride or the Manchester 100 bike ride.

If you’ve have already signed up for your own cycling challenge, let us know through our online form. We can send you a sponsorship pack and free Christie t-shirt, and also give you some handy fundraising advice.

Do you want to support The Christie this year? Take on The Christie Challenge and help us keep moving for people with cancer.
