Roxana Boaler is the winner of The Christie’s You Made a Difference Award for October 2025.
The following comments were made about Roxie in the September nominations. Judges picked her out as a very deserving winner and said that the comments made about her showed how she represents The Christie values and behaviours.
“Roxie was at The Christie from 2017 to 2019 on Ward 11, then left for a little while due to childcare, returning in 2022.
“She is a staff nurse on the ward and tries to give the patients the best possible experience – as The Christie Values say – she makes a difference, connects with people and acts with kindness.
“She has a supportive husband and 3 children, and they keep her fairly busy outside work, but she has enjoyed going to music festivals in the past.”
