The Christie International

The Christie has an international reputation and history of advancing cancer treatment, sharing knowledge and research across global networks.

International partnership working is a key strategic objective in The Christie’s 2023 to 2028 Strategy.

The Trust is focused on engaging in transformative projects to reduce the burden of cancer globally, as well as growing a pipeline of global cancer leaders. Working on international projects also helps to improve the clinical outcomes and experience of The Christie’s diverse patient population.

There are 4 main components of The Christie International’s work:

The International Programme Board (IPB), chaired by Executive Director and Deputy CEO, Professor Chris Harrison, directs this portfolio of work.

Managerial oversight is provided by Jonathan Martin, Head of Christie International.
