The type of information the Trust may hold about its volunteers
- Person identifiable data – name, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, disability status, emergency contact details.
- Contact details – address, telephone number, email address.
- Volunteer role details – hours, role, line manager, references, mandatory training, and DBS status.
By providing the Trust with your contact details, you are consenting to the Trust using these details as a means of communicating with you.
In order to assist us with keeping accurate information about you, please tell us if your personal details change – address, telephone number, email, so that we can update your details.
Your information will only be held and used for the purposes of volunteer recruitment and requirements and activities related to your role as a volunteer.
We will use your information to contact you regarding volunteer application and recruitment and in relation to the requirements of volunteering and activities undertaken.
As a volunteer, you are also a member of the Trust and will be sent information in relation to membership services and activities including:
- General information and Headlines magazine
- Events, projects and meetings
- Focus groups (currently held virtually via Zoom)
