Kirit is the Strategic Lead at Can Survive UK, a charity providing culturally appropriate support and information for people living with or affected by cancer, with a focus on primarily but not exclusively African and Caribbean communities.
Kirit brings over 30 years of experience working across both large and small organisations - including Oxfam, BHA for Equality, Southern Voices and Sector3 - in leadership, partnership building and community development. Throughout his career, he has focused on tackling racial, gender, health and income inequalities.
Driven by a deep passion for equity, Kirit is committed to making a real difference for people from minoritised and disadvantaged backgrounds affected by cancer, while championing inclusive, culturally sensitive and high-quality support services for everyone.
