Following her son’s cancer diagnosis in 2018, Andrea has a personal journey connected to The Christie. Through this journey and her work as a healthcare professional, Andrea has a passion to contribute further and is actively involved in fundraising and volunteering with The Christie Charity, which gives her insight into the patient, family, and staff experience.
As a healthcare professional, Andrea is equipped to help recognise the needs of others to support the best treatment and outcomes and sees her role as a governor as a way of being able to give back and be an advocate for others to help shape the future of The Christie.
