The Cancer Studies Research Group based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust play a major role in allow registrars in clinical and medical Oncology to fulfil the academic side of their training.

However, if you have attended statistics teaching in your own hospital and require a revision session before the FRCR 1 RCR examinations, you can register via Eventbrite to attend the Revision Workshop as a standalone event.
The workshop recording and link to MCQs will be available and accessible via SharePoint to all registered candidates for revision purposes until end September 2025 in line with the Spring and Autumn 2025 RCR FRCR 1 examinations.
This is a Royal College Accredited Training Course for clinical and medical oncology specialist registrars.
The course covers FRCR part 1 examinations as part of the RCR syllabus.
Live virtual Zoom recording. Lectures and MCQs with links to blank quiz questions to aid FRCR part 1 revision. The revision workshop recording is facilitated by the University of Manchester's Biostatistician lecturer, Matthew Parkes. The SharePoint link will be emailed to candidates upon Eventbrite registration.
