Metastatic breast cancer study day

Explore important new approaches to management of patients with early breast cancer

This study day will focus on important approaches to management of patients with secondary (or metastatic) breast cancer.

Topics will include all aspects of the patient pathway including recent advances in systemic and local therapies for secondary breast cancer. There will also be sessions on the prevention and management of treatment toxicities.

Target audience

The target audience is for oncology professionals (including allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses) and General Practitioners working with secondary breast cancer patients.

What to expect

Leaders in their respective fields will present updates on the management of early breast cancer of all major subtypes: HER2+, triple negative and hormone receptor positive. Patient support approaches for fertility preservation, bone health and menopausal symptoms will be discussed in detail. The session will be interactive to facilitate learning.
