It will employ a multi-disciplinary approach, providing valuable insights into the re-sectional aspects of this field, considerations in multiple organ removal (bladder, anus/colon, stomach), and the inclusion of radiology in preoperative planning for complex reconstructions, as well as anaesthetic aspects in perioperative patient care.
Listen to leading national and international experts from both plastic surgery, colorectal, urology and gynaecological surgery fields. Some presenters have specialties involved in treatment of patients with perineal malignancies.
All available reconstructive options and detailed information on perineal and pelvic defects, together with valuable insights into surgical execution, indications, and common complications and pitfalls encountered when dealing with these challenging defects will be highlighted.
Consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeons, consultant colorectal and general surgeons, consultant gynaecological oncological surgeons, consultant urologists, oncologists and surgical and non-surgical trainees with an interest to learn about this challenging field.
