Please note that this course delivery is via classroom in Frome.

Course tutors: Jenny Charlton and Susie Ray (from the School of Precision Reflexology)

As a qualified reflexologist, this intensive 2-day course will help you to expand your reflexology skills to work safely and confidently in the areas of hospice and cancer care.

During this course, we will overview theory but focus more on the practical aspects of adapting a variety of reflexology techniques that can be used safely for the benefit of patients when a more traditional approach to reflexology may not be suitable or may be contraindicated.

Prerequisite: Level 3 Reflexology diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s therapeutic practice.

Location: The Moxon Suite, Frome Community Hospital, Enos Way, Frome, Somerset, BA11 2FH

Price: £245
Please note: If you would like to book and make payment via invoice, please email the-christie.ittu@nhs.net.

Please note: The Integrated Therapies Training Unit (ITTU) continuously strives to provide current, evidence-based educational events to equip integrative therapists and health care professionals with relevant skills and knowledge to apply in their roles. Although many of the courses discuss ways of adapting practice when providing therapies to patients with a cancer diagnosis, we maintain that the aims of our educational events are to increase understanding of cancer and the delivery of suitable complementary therapies for therapeutic purposes in this patient cohort. Therapies are to be offered alongside medical treatment as a means to enhance physical and psychological wellbeing, and never as a treatment for the underlying cancer.
