Where we are
The new art room and relaxation room at The Christie is now open in department 12 on the main corridor.
What we do
A relaxed space which supports patients and carers by helping them to discover their creativity at a time when they may be feeling at their most vulnerable. A staff art group also runs as part of The Christie's commitment to staff support.
There are several drop in sessions each week for patients and their carers. No previous arts experience necessary - the sessions are informal, fun, and relaxing.
A wide range of activities are available, including working with professional artists to bring out your natural creativity.
Regular sessions are:
- Monday 1.30 - 3.30pm
- Wednesday 1.30 - 3.30pm
- Thursday 10.30 - 3.30pm
