Once treatment is completed, you will be followed up by your consultant in out-patients with regular appointments and interval scans at 3, 6 or 12 monthly depending on diagnosis.
Some patients, such as those who are unlikely to require further treatment from their consultant clinical oncologist, are referred back to their surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital for follow up. In any event, you will still have access to the team members for advice and support between appointments.
