Strike action from Thursday 27 June to Tuesday 2 July 2024

Junior doctors at The Christie will strike from 7am on Thursday 27 June until 7am on Tuesday 2 July 2024.

We are proactively contacting patients with appointments that may be affected. If you have an appointment on any of these dates, please continue to come to The Christie and our other centres as planned, unless we contact you to tell you otherwise. Please do not call to check if your appointment is still going ahead.

NET Patient Foundation

Find clinical information, real life experiences and access to the largest online NET community in the UK, so you can share your questions or concerns with other people in a similar situation.

The foundation also sponsors an annual meeting in Manchester and supports NET Natter Groups, which are informal local gatherings run by patients for patients, with information on their website.

AMEND

The Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders (AMEND) is a UK-registered charity providing free information, resources and support services to anyone anywhere affected by multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) and associated endocrine conditions.

Trusted information on all cancer types.

Macmillan

Expert, high-quality information on cancer types and treatments, emotional, financial and practical help and an online community were people can share information and support.
