The challenge

Set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, this ultra marathon across the weekend of Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June 2025 takes you on a breathtaking journey through Derbyshire’s rolling hills, rugged moorlands, and picturesque villages. Starting and finishing in the charming town of Bakewell, the 100km figure-of-8 loop offers both a physical test and incredible scenery.

Choose your challenge

• 100km ultra – The ultimate test of endurance, looping back to Bakewell.
• Three-quarter (75km) – A challenging distance for those  long-distance runners looking to push themselves.
• Half (50km) – Perfect for those ready to go the distance, but who aren't quite ready for the full 100km.
• Quarter (25km) – A beautiful route that lets you enjoy the Peak District at a more leisurely pace.
• 10 miles – For those who want to experience a shorter but equally scenic part of the course.
