Peel L&P are bringing The Bridgewater Way Walk in aid of The Christie charity to life in what is set to be The Bridgewater Canal’s biggest ever charity event to take place in its 250-year history.
All funds raised will support The Christie’s pioneering bloods closer to home service.
The Bridgewater Way Walk for The Christie charity is supported by Hits Radio UK.
Online registrations are now closed for this event but you are welcome to sign up on the day at Trafford Palazzo between 09:30 am and 11 am.

- 9:30 am - Event site opens
- 10 am - Staggered starts begin

The event will finish in Castlefield. Public transport runs from the event site. The Metrolink runs from Deansgate to the Palazzo, where you can collect your car. You can also walk back. Please note: if you are walking the route back, this is not part of the organised event.
The route
Beginning at Trafford Palazzo, the 5-mile route will meander along the Bridgewater Way taking in the sights, wildlife and nature along the Bridgewater Canal. There will be music and support from canal boats, a pit stop at Hotel Football for refreshments and other snack stops along the way.
The route will end in Castlefield, Manchester where you will be met with entertainment from Pantonic Allstars steel band, fun fair stalls, face painting and catering.
