The award winning Christie Musical Theatre Company are proud to bring you their 10th anniversary production, Gypsy.
Based on the 1957 memoirs of world-famous striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, Gypsy begins at the end of the vaudeville era. The musical tells the story of overbearing stage mother Rose who travels with her young daughters throughout the country, performing in fading venues for dwindling audiences. Rose's desperate desire for fame soon pushes the family to its limits, unravelling relationships, unveiling a new star and revealing a raw power of ambition laid bare.
Broadway comes to Lytham with this immersive production of Gypsy. Brought to you by the accomplished creative team of Peter Taylor, Edward Rugman and Di Barron, this innovative new production is destined to surprise you.
Evening shows start at 7.30pm, plus a 2.30pm matinee show on Saturday 30 April.
