Bauble decorating contest

Do you want to support The Christie this Christmas? Take on The Christie Challenge and help us keep make sure we can be there for people with cancer.

If you're organising a bauble decorating contest as part of The Christie Challenge or as a standalone fundraising activity, please create a JustGiving page in support of The Christie using the button below.

And if you’re hosting a bauble decorating competition with your school during the festive season, why not take part in our school fundraising challenge 60 for The Christie?

Decorate 60 baubles for a tree in your school hall or time people to decorate a bauble in 60 seconds – let your imagination run wild!

Are you looking for a creative and fun fundraising idea to take on this festive season? Why not organise a bauble decorating contest for a chance to let out your artistic side, while raising money for The Christie Charity?

To start, you’ll just need to buy a few packs of plain baubles. Get your friends, family members or colleagues involved – then you’ll need to get your arts and crafts heads on and get decorating!

For decorating, get the glitter and glue, paints and pipe cleaners, stars, and stickers out and have a contest to see who can make the fanciest festive baubles.

To raise money for The Christie Charity with your bauble decorating contest, you could charge all your participants £1 per bauble, or get people to donate the cost of a pack of baubles to take part.

Are you struggling to get everyone into one place for your bauble decorating contest? You can also hold your event virtually. You can all get together on Zoom or Skype, or ask all your participants to send pictures of their baubles in. If you want to crown a winner, you could hold a public vote on social media!

If you’re holding a bauble decorating contest for The Christie Charity, get in touch and request a fundraising pack from us. We can send you out a pack of fundraising tips for your event and a sponsor form to collect your money.
