Get your glad rags on
Looking for a quick and easy fundraising activity? Why not suggest a dress-up (or down!) day to raise money for The Christie?
Fancy dress and dress-down days are a fun way to fundraise and a great way to involve people. And what’s more, they’re super easy to organise!
Dress-down days are fantastic because you already have everything you need. For a small donation, people can come in dressed as fancy or relaxed as they like.
Whether that’s working from home or the office, in the playground or in the classroom, it’s great to have a reason to step away from formality for a day.
Feeling more adventurous? Why not give your day a theme?
- Come as your favourite book or film character
- Dress in your pyjamas or onesie for the day
- Theme it around an upcoming holiday or celebration
- Wear Christie colours for the day – you could wear red wigs or dress all in blue. Or ask different teams or classes to get creative with the Christie colours!
Simply ask your boss or head teacher if everyone can wear their own clothes in return for a small donation to The Christie. You could also ask them to judge everyone’s efforts and award prizes to make the day extra entertaining!
