Professional biography
Dr Kapacee graduated from the University of Manchester in 2015 before completing his general medical training in Manchester. He subsequently undertook specialist Clinical Oncology training at the Leeds Cancer Centre and associated cancer centres across West Yorkshire.
In his final year of training, Dr Kapacee completed two fellowships. At The Christie, he developed expertise in advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) and adaptive radiotherapy using MR-Linac technology. He also served as a National Radiotherapy Fellow with NHS England, contributing to national radiotherapy initiatives and service development projects, with a particular focus on prostate cancer.
Dr Kapacee was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at The Christie in 2026 and specialises in the treatment of prostate and bladder cancers.
Research Interest
Advanced radiotherapy techniques, particularly use of stereotactic ablative and adaptive radiotherapy techniques. Recruitment of patients to clinical trials.
