Having a diagnosis of penile cancer can be very daunting for patients and their relatives as many people will never have heard of the disease. There is very little information available to patients – here are some reliable and useful sources of information and support for penile cancer patients.

  • The Christie psycho-oncology service
    Our experienced team offers in-depth assessments and specialist support to help with issues like severe anxiety, major depression or significant trauma. We work closely with cancer teams to make sure emotional wellbeing is recognised and supported as an important part of overall care.
  • The Christie and Maggie’s Penile Cancer Patient Group
    Face-to-face educational group for patients, partners and relatives run every 3rd month on a Wednesday at Maggie’s. Advertised on Facebook and through clinics.
  • ORCHID Facebook group
    Raising awareness of this rare cancer, we invite those with penile cancer to participate and share their personal experience and journey. The aim is to get this rare and often untreated cancers into the open and raise awareness.
  • Maggie’s Centre
    Maggie’s Centres offer free practical, emotional, and psychological support for anyone affected by cancer, including men with penile cancer and their families.
