Get crafty
If you’re a dab hand at sewing or knitting and you want to raise money for The Christie, a craft fair is a good way to do this.
Organising a craft fair works great at a school or workplace, as you’ll have a lot of people to make items you can sell. But as long as you’ve got enough hands on deck to craft, you can still make it a success.
Make sure you advertise your event well – posters around your local area and posts on Facebook work well for this. Include the time, date and location of the event so people know when to turn up.
You need to make sure you’ve got plenty of stalls and things to sell at your craft fair. Decide if you want these to all be handmade or if you’re happy selling some second-hand goods as well.
Putting on a craft fair for The Christie? Great news! Make sure you register your event and request a fundraising pack from us. We can send you out a free Christie t-shirt, collection boxes and some other free resources to help your craft fair go off without a hitch.
Do you want to support The Christie this year? Take on The Christie Challenge and help us keep moving for people with cancer.
If you're selling knitted jumpers or rainbow crafts as part of The Christie Challenge or as a separate fundraising activity, please create a JustGiving page in support of The Christie using the button below.
