Jade Ryan, a staff nurse on ward 11 is the winner of The Christie’s You Made a Difference Award for August 2024. The following comments were made about Jade in the August nominations.
The judges picked Jade out as a very deserving winner and said that the comments made about her showed how she represents The Christie values and behaviours.
“Jade joined ward 11 as a registered nurse in November 2023.
“Jade is a caring and compassionate member of the team, always helping others where she can. She always looks out for her colleagues, always bringing a positive attitude to the workplace and always putting a smile on everyone's face.
“She is always empathic towards her patients, putting them first. Jade gains trust and builds therapeutic relationship with her patients, as well as building a bond with family members.
“Otherwise less officially, she is a Fantastic Mr Fox lover and little snowflake. Jade is always buzzing when she is on the shift with work friends. Every single person loves her so much.”
