Communicating with Colleagues

Are you an aspiring leader/manager looking to enhance your skill set to aid connection?

In this 1-day workshop, we will draw from conflict management, assertiveness and emotional intelligence literature as well as a comprehensive communication skills evidence base to assist you in your everyday and more difficult communications with colleagues.

You will discuss the challenges in communicating with colleagues and explore the roots of conflict

You will explore how to get your message heard and reach mutually beneficial solutions
You will discover skills for hearing, understanding, making requests and saying no
We will demonstrate to you a 3-step process for raising issues and concerns with colleagues

Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to see the skills learned in action, using a live demonstration.

Who is the workshop suitable for?

This 1-day workshop is suitable for you if you work as a health and social care professional and find yourself having challenging conversations with colleagues and/or you are charged with conflict resolution in the workplace between colleagues.
