The HEARTS Process May 2024

Saturday 18 May, 10:30am to 6pm and Sunday 19 May 2024, 10am to 4pm

Course tutors: Ann Carter, Dr Peter Mackereth and Paula Maycock

HEARTS is a mnemonic for Hands-on, Empathy, Aromas, Relaxation, Textures and Sound. You will learn how to combine these therapeutic components to help patients and carers achieve a state of relaxation and calm in many situations. Students can complete additional case study work in support of a HEARTS Process Practitioner Certificate.

Prerequisite: This course is ideal for integrative therapists and health care professionals working in supportive and palliative care.

Location: The Education Centre, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester M20 4XQ.
