The Christie Charity
This service is provided for patients who are struggling with difficult procedures such as radiotherapy (particularly head and neck patients), needle anxiety, MRI scans, CT scans, line insertions etc.
For those patients who require support the therapist will either attend with the patient during the procedure or teach the patient techniques that they can use themselves beforehand.
For a referral please speak to a member of the medical team.
Please note: As we are a charity funded service with a limited number of therapists, a referral does not guarantee a treatment, however, the therapists will endeavour to do their best.
