Professional biography

Dr Al-Kadhimi graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London in 2008 with an intercalated MBBS BSc degree. He completed his specialist training in anaesthetics within the Central London School of Anaesthesia.

During subspecialty training he developed an interest in pre-operative assessment, risk stratification and the optimisation of patients prior to major surgery, undertaking a Perioperative Medicine fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
