Professional biography
Dr Loncaster was Training Programme Director for the North West Clinical Oncology training programme and chaired the North West Speciality Training Committee from 2005 to 2011. Since 2009 she has been the North West Regional Specialty Advisor for the Royal College of Radiologists. She was a member of the National Recruitment Steering Committee for Clinical Oncology from 2009 to 2012. In May 2012 she was appointed as the Director of Postgraduate Medical Education for The Christie and the chair of the Medical Education Committee.
She held the role of Lead clinician for Acute Oncology from Pennine Acute Hospitals Trust from 2010 to 2014 and was a member of the GMCCN Acute Oncology Project Group from 2009-2011.
Dr Loncaster is also the author of Christie Breast Cancer Guidelines and the Breast group representative on the Drugs and Therapeutics committee.
