Professional biography

Dr Lund graduated in Medicine from the University of Birmingham in 2011. He completed his specialist training in anaesthetics within the North West School of Anaesthesia.

During subspecialty training, he completed a fellowship in simulation and education in Perth, Australia. He is currently clinical and educational supervisor for acute medical trainees placed on critical care at The Christie.

Whilst in Australia, he also developed an interest in perioperative medicine; and specifically on the use of perioperative echocardiography by anaesthetists to perform focussed pre-operative assessment.
