Professional biography
Professor Renehan is Professor of Cancer Studies and Surgery at the University of Manchester, Institute of Cancer Sciences. He is lead for the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) Obesity and Cancer Research Group; lead for the MCR Farr@HeRC Diabesity and Outcome Theme; chair of the International Diabetes and Cancer Research Consortium; and chair of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Cancer Study Group. He is honorary consultant colorectal surgeon and core member of the Peritoneal Tumour Service at The Christie. He has authored or co-authored more than 150 publications, 10 book chapters and has edited two books.
