Professional biography

Dr Smith qualified in medicine from Merton College, Oxford in 2009. She completed foundation medical training in the Oxford Deanery, before moving to the North West for general medical training and specialty training in Haematology. She joined the University of Manchester’s Targeted Therapy research group in 2017, leading to completion of a PhD in 2020. She took up a consultant post in haematology at The Christie at Macclesfield in 2022.
