Strike action from Thursday 27 June to Tuesday 2 July 2024

Junior doctors at The Christie will strike from 7am on Thursday 27 June until 7am on Tuesday 2 July 2024.

We are proactively contacting patients with appointments that may be affected. If you have an appointment on any of these dates, please continue to come to The Christie and our other centres as planned, unless we contact you to tell you otherwise. Please do not call to check if your appointment is still going ahead.

Mindful Resilience Enhancement (MRE) Level 1, Workshop 2

Wednesday 25 September, 2, 9, 16 and 30 October and 6 November 2024 , 6:30pm to 9pm – virtual

This online training course provides an experiential training in teaching mindfulness to clients in a 1-2-1 context. Together with MRE Workshop 1, it offers a very flexible way of teaching mindfulness that works with the specific needs of clients.

The course is suitable for any students, trainees, professionals and practitioners working in health, educational, social and integrative therapy contexts.

Prerequisite: you must have already attended MRE Level 1: Workshop 1 to attend this course.
