Your care may be managed by our medical oncologists who are consultants with lymphoma expertise who consider what will be the best way of treating your type of lymphoma with chemotherapy. If you require radiotherapy treatment they will refer you to see a clinical oncologist. Your medical oncologist may also discuss clinical trial options with you and answer your questions.

Our nurse clinician/advanced nurse practitioners have a great deal of knowledge and experience of lymphoma. As part of the medical team, they assess and manage patients. You may see the lymphoma nurse clinician in one of your outpatient clinic appointments.

If you are entered onto a clinical trial, our research nurses will co-ordinate your care and treatment schedule, and will be a good source of advice about the trial you are participating in. You will be introduced to the research nurses when you consent to be involved in a trial and they will become one of your main points of contact throughout your journey.

The Teenage and Young Adult service (TYA) are here to help us care and treat younger patients with a lymphoma diagnosis. This means that you may receive your treatment and attend clinic appointments in a specialist unit surrounded by a medical and nursing team specialising in lymphoma in young patients.
